The Three Instincts Workshop:

Using the Enneagram to Create Balance in your Life and Harmony in your Relationships

with Roxanne Howe-Murphy and Ronna Phifer-Ritchie

through the Enneagram Institute of the San Francisco Bay Area

Mercy Center, Burlingame, California

April 23-25,2010

Our instinctual nature, operating 24/7, is extremely powerful in our decision-making processes, lifestyle choices, and orientation to day-to-day reality, yet is often given little emphasis in spiritual work. The Enneagram deals directly with this aspect of the Self through teachings about the Three Instincts–Self-Preservation, Sexual (Attraction), and Social (Adaptation).

Without a clear and viable relationship with this aspect of our souls, it is extremely difficult to maintain an integrated, balanced approach to our path. Join us to discover how your instinctual bias or “stack” in combination with your dominant Enneagram type explains so much of your experience and shows you how you can create more real equilibrium, effectiveness and satisfaction.

In this workshop:

* Learn about the power of the Instincts and see them at work in your life;

* Recognize how your particular instinctual stack, (or how you prioritize your basic human needs) locks repetitive habits of your personality;

* Explore concrete ways in which to bring greater balance to your instinctual life to help you integrate the deeper experiences of Essence and Being.
