Official Rules

ELIGIBILITY:

1. The Deep Coaching Book Giveaway is open to anyone who signs up for the Deep Coaching Book Giveaway.
2. Entries are accepted from anywhere in the world.
3. Only one entry per family or household will be allowed.
4. A submission for the Deep Coaching Book Giveaway is only allowed one time per person, per household and/or IP address. Once your contact information is entered, no further entries will be accepted.
5. Lifewise Learning Institute contractors, employees, their families and households, are ineligible to enter.
6. All decisions by the Lifewise Learning Institute concerning an entrant’s eligibility are final.

ENTRY:

1. The Deep Coaching Book Giveaway is open to submissions made by anyone who signs up for the Deep Coaching Book Giveaway.
2. In the event that a person submits a name for entry, it shall be taken as confirmation that the person’s consent has been obtained.
3. There is no entry fee and no purchase is necessary to enter.
4. In the event that an entry is selected to be a winner, the winner will be contacted directly as well as announced in the Awakening Wisdom ezine, posted in our blog and other promotions.
5. By submitting a completed entry form, entrants agree to abide by all giveaway rules.
6. The prize administrator will send each entrant an acknowledgement via email upon receipt of submission.
7. All giveaway entrants acknowledge, as a condition of entry, that Lifewise Learning Institute has the right to use the entrant’s name, testimonial, and other relevant information to promote both the giveaway and the author’s work. We will not post contact information, with the exception of the entrant’s website URL.
8. The Deep Coaching Book Giveaway accepts no responsibility for entries made without full contact information, including name, address, website and telephone number. Partial entries will be omitted from the Deep Coaching Book Giveaway.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

1. The Deep Coaching Book Giveaway will be awarded based on random selection of entrants.
2. Entrants may register once and be awarded a free book only one time.
3. One book per person, household and/or IP address may be awarded.

WINNER NOTIFICATION; CLAIMING OF PRIZE:

1. The winner will receive one ‘Deep Coaching’ book by United States mail.
2. The winner will also receive an invitation to join the Deep Coaching book club.
3. Notwithstanding the foregoing, except where prohibited, participation in the contest constitutes winner’s consent to Lifewise Learning Institute’s use of the winner’s name, likeness, opinions, biographical information, hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.
4. If the winner does not respond within 10 days of Lifewise Learning Institute’s attempted email notification, or if the winner fails to sign and return any required documents according to Lifewise Learning Institute’s reasonable instructions, an additional notification will be sent to the winner by email. If the required response is not obtained from the selected winner by the date specified in the second email notification, or if the selected winner is ineligible or otherwise fails to properly claim the Prize, a replacement winner will be chosen from eligible entries. The process will be repeated until the Prize is awarded.
5. For purposes of compliance with tax regulations, Prize winners must provide a completed W-9 form, including Social Security number or taxpayer ID, to claim The Deep Coaching Book Giveaway. Winners understand and agree that they are responsible for any and all taxes incurred on the book received. Entrants should understand that The Deep Coaching Book Giveaway may be required to advise the internal revenue service (or equivalent) of the state to which winning author(s) primarily pays taxes. In the case of the United States, this will involve submitting a Form 1099; in order to do this, the winner must provide a completed W-9.
6. The Lifewise Learning Institute, its agencies, affiliates, sponsors, or representatives absolve themselves of any liability, financial or otherwise, resulting from giveaways offered by The Deep Coaching Book Giveaway.

DISCLAIMERS:

1. By entering The Deep Coaching Book Giveaway, participants agree to waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error in these Official Rules, or the contest itself, and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by all decisions of the Lifewise Learning Institute, whose decisions are final. Participants agree that Lifewise Learning Institute, its affiliated companies, parent company, and any co-Sponsors of The Deep Coaching Book Giveaway shall not be liable for losses or injuries of any kind resulting from acceptance or use of Prize, participation in the contest, or any technical malfunctions of any kind, including but not limited to: the telephone system used, internet connection, internet browser, computer equipment, software, or any combination thereof, or any misdirected entries, or delayed data transmissions. NOTWITHSTANDING THE FOREGOING, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL THE ABOVE REFERENCED ENTITIES BE LIABLE FOR AN AMOUNT OF DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF THE VALUE OF THE BOOK AWARDED HEREUNDER, NOR FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. The book shall be provided on an “AS-IS” basis without warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind express or implied, including without limitation any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or usability by a winner. IT IS THE PARTICIPANT’S RESPONSIBILITY TO READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL INFORMATION THAT MAY ACCOMPANY THE DEEP COACHING BOOK GIVEAWAY.

MODIFICATION OF THE OFFICIAL RULES; CANCELLATION OF CONTEST:

1. Lifewise Learning Institute reserves the right to modify the Official Rules in any way, or at any time. Lifewise Learning Institute reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify The Deep Coaching Book Giveaway at any time. If any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond the Lifewise Learning Institute’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the contest, Lifewise Learning Institute also reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to award The Deep Coaching Book Giveaway from among eligible entries received prior to such action.

GOVERNING LAW; ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION:

1. Participant agrees that any dispute arising out of this contest shall be resolved individually without class action and exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any disputes (excluding disputes where a party is seeking preliminary or permanent injunctive relief or a temporary restraining order) that may arise out of this contest shall first be submitted to mediation before a mediator appointed by the American Arbitration Association in San Francisco, CA pursuant to its rules of mediation. If a good faith attempt by both parties and the American Arbitration Association fails to accomplish a resolution, then after fully exhausting the mediation remedy, the matter shall be submitted to the American Arbitration Association for binding arbitration.
